GLOBAL SMART ALERT is an app targeted towards businesses but includes features personal users may like. The app notifies registered users via PUSH notifications an emergency situation exists and they should evacuate the affected premises. Police, Medical, Fire and Security emergency events are catered for. A personal facility is included which allows up to five receivers to be notified the sender is in trouble. The senders location is displayed on a map so receivers can respond to the distressed sender. The app identifies where fire extinguishers and first aid kits are located in a premises. It suggests what fire extinguisher to use for particular types of fire. Users can peruse and download work place procedures and safety information pertaining to the place of employment.
